Review of Reef Men's BYOB Sandal

I bought a pair of these on vacation in Hawaii out of necessity (managed to destroy my Teva's), and now I swear by the Reef BYOB. It is without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I own. No annoying "thong" straps between my toes, a perfectly contoured foot pocket, and a wide neoprene-like strap across the top of the foot that is extremely comfortable. The shoe stays snug on the foot, and doesn't slip off like you might expect with this style. I have worn these shoes all summer, almost all day each day, and they still look like new once sprayed with a hose. The soles are wearing great, and there is no noticable wear on the heal pocket or upper strap. If it wasn't for me dragging my toes now and then these shoes would pass for new. The bottle opener on the bottom is not just a gimmick either. Last night I was at a baseball game (the Padres) and the vendor forgot to remove the top from my beer bottle. Lickety split I was able to open up my bottle, and those of my friends, and get on with business. :) Great shoe, very comfortable, and will last you forever. You can't beat it.

This is my 4th pair so I guess you'd say I love them.
I have a wide foot and they fit right away.They are so comfortable I can walk in them instead of tennis shoes, but they also look nice enough to wear with pants or skirts.I get loads of compliments.

I've always stayed away from flip-flops because I hated the plastic piece between my toes.In this pair,the toe separator is cloth, not plastic, which improves the entire experience.Additionally, the shoes themselves feel much more supportive than other flip-flops, and are comfortable for walking.
The discreet tray in the heel is genius!It was the reason I originally purchased them.I'm planning a trip, and I'd like to be able to go purse-less and pocket-less.I'm so glad I took a chance on these shoes.
Though they are more expensive than most flip-flops, they are worth every penny!

So, I switched from my normal Rainbow Slipper wearing habits reluctantly to pick up a pair of these.They look better designed with the nice, tough bottom sole.. right?Well.. kind of.The strap is just WAY too big.My feet slip and slide around in the them, and do the dreaded "squeak" like someone else was saying.They straps on these just do not hold your feet like Rainbows.It sucks.Other than that, they are a great slipper.But.. fit and hold are everything, so today I'm going back to Rainbows.Have to do it.Sad, because I really want to like these slippers.. Review of Reef Women's Swing 2 Sandal

I bought these to replace my Rainbow Sandals, because they had begun to wear through to the top sole (the Rainbow brand isn't as well made as it used to be). These Reefs were just what I needed. They are true to size and, even better, aren't too narrow for my feet--which is amazing because I have pretty wide feet. I also like the soft suede leather. At first, the straps were kind of tight and itchy, but now that I've worn the shoes for a few days, the straps are loosening up and getting softer. The footbed is also slowly molding to my foot. I don't expect it to be a quick process, because I have small feet and hta tmakes it take longer. Overall, however, I think they'll work out fine. I may post an updated review later on.

very comfortable flip-flops. great for all day wearing. these are my second pair. i wore these all day for 6 days in Savannah, Ga. I've worn them to the beach, in the water, in a friends pool. they can take it and still look good.i still wear my first pair around the house or for shooting to the store. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the can-opener on the bottom. It works ok. Depending on where you have been walking though, i wouldn't want that stuff near my beer.

They are comfortable and decent quality.The only surprise is how difficult they are to slip on. I have wide feet so it is difficult to slip them on when you are trying to put them on without using your hands.The main strap fits snug to the foot, which makes them more comfortable than other flip flops, but it is a pain if you need to take them on and off quick.

No question, Reef is the best, most comfortable brand of sandal I have ever worn.My first Reef Smoothy pair lasted 10 years!I just bought new pairs of both regular Smoothy and Contour Smoothy.

I prefer the regular Smoothy over the Contour Smoothy.The Contour is still a nice sandal, but the pre-built "natural" contour already in the sandal may or may not be right for your foot.I like them, but there is not as much opportunity to individualize the sandal to YOUR specific foot.The regular Smoothy is a full flat surface, almost like a blank canvas.After only a couple of days of wearing the sandal, it is already shaping to my foot.After about a week, it is perfect, specific to the contours of MY foot.

Both Smoothy sandals are great.But if you have a choice, stick with the original.
